About Us
For many years role play, simulation and associated theatre based learning techniques have been used as a training methodology to allow practitioners to build skills, test strategies and develop safe practice in a constructive environment.
PEEL Roleplay combines decades of experience in this field with sound project management and an unprecedented level of quality assurance and professionalism in this field.
Our team has delivered over 100,000 hours of such training, recruited and trained hundreds of simulated patients (SPs), have broken new ground when developing innovative new projects and built a level of robust programme management that cannot be rivalled.
PEEL Roleplay is in affiliation with The PEEL Entertainment Group, specialists in live entertainment solutions.
Our Services
Training & Development
Experiential learning using actors provides a level of engagement and potential for change which simply cannot be rivalled with didactic, ‘chalk and talk’ training. Our quality-assured programmes, covering topics such as ‘Dignity and Respect’, ‘Care and Compassion’ and ‘Patient Experience’ will help your colleagues develop safe, effective cultures of care for patients.
Recruitment
Increasingly, it is recognised that recruiting the right people for healthcare careers is just as important as the subsequent education and training. Testing for these ‘soft’ skills or innate values requires careful and consistent testing. Our experienced Simulated Patients can help your values-based recruitment drive, ensuring you have the best possible people to start training.
Role play & Simulation
Developing skills through practice is recognised as the most effective means of learning. Our highly-experienced Simulated Patients and facilitators will engage with your learners to help them practice their skills and gain feedback in a supportive environment. This is followed up by comprehensive assessment to ensure that your efforts produce the best possible professionals, able to give exceptional care to their patients.
Programme Management
Our robust programme management systems, developed over many years, ensure reliable attendance and delivery of all learning sessions. We aim to ensure that all logistics, arrangements and bookings are made with the minimum fuss but with 100% accuracy and reliability, such that the focus can always remain on the important issues at hand: effective learning and assessment.
